Walter Scott Quarrie was baptized on the 2nd of February, 1844, at Bride. He married Marth Bell on the 16th of January, 1878, at St. Thomas, Douglas, when he stated his age as 30 years.
At the census of 1851 and 1861 he was living with his parents. He has not been identified in the 1871 census. In 1881 he was described as a mason and was living with his family at 1, Allan Street, Douglas. The family have not been identified in the 1891 or 1901 census.
Martha Bell was baptized on the 19th of October, 1856, at St. Matthew, Douglas, the daughter of William Bell and Mary Ann Radcliffe, who married on the 13th of October, 1855, at Braddan. She married Walter Quarrie on the 16th of January, 1878, at St. Thomas, Douglas, when she stated her age as 21 years.
